Right down the center

When playing a fast-paced racing game such as Traffic Rider often, you’ll have to react within a split second. When trying to overtake a vehicle, you’ll have to quickly pick a side to overtake. If you hesitate for too long, you could end up crashing into the vehicle.

This often occurs, particularly when there is a lot of traffic. However, there is a third option. You can overtake vehicles by going between them.

Right down the center

When faced with a lot of traffic, you can drive your motorcycle right through two different vehicles. If you do it right, it can save you from serving and crashing into the traffic.

Keep your focus

When playing in career mode, be sure to keep your focus on the objective. You see, career mode is not as simple as racing from point A to point B. You’ll be given a unique objective that you have to complete during the race.

This can be anything like driving a certain number of miles or overtaking a certain number of cars. If you don’t pay special attention to finishing the objective you’ve been given, you will most likely fail the mission.

Keep your focus

Take an aggressive approach.

Oftentimes when you’re approaching the finish line, you’ll be behind another car. Overtaking it to be the first will mean crashing and causing an accident.

In such a scenario, it is best to just go for and try your very best to overcome the last car. You see, the game is finished as soon as you cross the finish line. So it doesn’t matter if your victory results in you crashing and burning as long as you cross the finish line. At the final point of the race, you don’t have anything to lose, as your position is guaranteed anyway.

Take an aggressive approach

Another thing to remember is that when you’re passing a vehicle, you can cross into their lane earlier than you think. You don’t have to wait until you’ve overtaken them completely.

This is a weird glitch due to the game being in first-person perspective. It’s not always a reliable strategy, but it can help you overtake vehicles more quickly.

Customize the controls to your liking

If you find that the default controls for Traffic Rider are not to your liking, you can change the motion-based controls. Change the control layout to a custom setup that you find most comfortable. To change the controls in Traffic Rider, go to the options menu and then controls.

Here you can change the different control settings, such as steer and throttle. You can also adjust the sensitivity levels or calibrate any externally attached controllers.

You can even enable special effects within the advanced menu, such as blood splatters when you wreck your car.
